Information Retrieval is the process of accessing the information that is stored on the Internet among the various web servers in the form of web pages. We use a particular software called web browser to retrieve information.
The process of navigating at different websites to access the information is
known as Internet Surfing or Net surfing.
Chatting:
Chatting is an online communication facility of Internet which allows
to send text and multimedia messages in real time.
Example: Whatsapp, Hike, facebook Messangers etc.
Search Engine:
Search Engine is a special website which allows the user on the client
machine to locate the specific information with the help of search Keyword.
Example: Google, Yahoo, Bing etc
Telnet:
A network protocol that allows a user on one computer to log into another
computer that is part of the same network through Id and password and this
process is known as Remote Login.
Email:
It is the exchange of computer stored messages by telecommunication. In it user can send E-mail from his own computer anytime to any address around the world. E-mail account can be created through many sites like G-mail, Yahoo mail, Rediff mail etc.

It is an audio-visual communication system which helps to see the people
while talking through the high internet connection.
